As I told people about my new handle product there were many that asked if the door could be locked.
So, I designed an Electronic Locking System.
The electric locking system comes with:
1. An emergency exit switch.
2. The magnet & opposing plate.
3. The control unit.
The electronic lock switch on the locked side is mounted at a typical switch height. The magnet is recessed into the jamb of the door frame, with the top 2” down from the head. The opposing plate is recessed into the door at a height to match the magnet.
The emergency switch should be mounted at a height approximately 72” above the floor. So that adults can use it when needed.
A wiring diagram is included with this system.
All wiring should be completed by a licensed electrician.
